This policy explains what personal data tracr.africa collects, how it is used, and your rights. We collect only what is necessary to provide the service and do not sell personal data to third parties.

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address
• Username
• Company name (optional, if provided)
• Authentication method (email/password or Google OAuth)

When you use the platform, we may collect basic usage data such as pages visited and search queries, used solely to improve the service.

We use your data to:

• Provide and manage your account
• Authenticate you and control access to member-only content
• Respond to support requests
• Improve the platform

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or share it with third parties except as described below.

Authentication and account data is handled by Supabase, which acts as our data processor. Data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure. If you sign in with Google, Google's OAuth service is involved but we only receive your email address and name.

tracr.africa publishes structured information about companies and individuals derived from public sources (business registries, gazette publications, sanctions lists, and similar official records). This data is public in nature and is republished in aggregated, structured form.

If you believe information about you is inaccurate or should be removed, contact us at hello@tracr.africa and we will review your request.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are used.

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to how it is processed. To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@tracr.africa.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
